McKinley High School's JROTC program is one of the most memorable experiences for the students at McKinley High School. We challenge Cadets to be their very best as they develop leadership skills and become better citizens. For the pas 100 years, our program has flourished, especially recently, with Cadet participating in numerous events ranging from Drill competitions, JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenges (JCLC), marching in community parades, supporting Veteran events (Nisei Memorial and Veterans Day) events, Raider Challenge Physical Fitness events, and extending our classroom learning into Service Projects. Overall we have measured the success of our program with the Cadets having gained a sense of purpose in their community and making a positive impact on others around them.
