OVERTIME: Games that end tied after regulation play two 5 minute overtime periods, however, if a goal is scored during overtime, the game ends on the "Golden Goal".
PENALTY SHOOTOUT: Games that remain tied after both overtime periods proceed to a penalty shootout - each team selects 5 shooters from among the players on the roster. The player did not have to participate during the game, as per NJISSA and Shore Conference rules.
IF NECESSARY, EXTENDED PENALTY SHOOTOUT: If the game remains tied after each of the team's 5 shooters have taken penalties, the contest will continue to a "sudden death" shootout, and each team will alternate shooter's until the tie is broken.
