No LUCAS
1 clinician – two breaths every 15 compressions
2 clinicians – two breaths every 30 compressions
Multiple clinicians applying LUCAS device
One clinician performing CPR
Once clinician ventilating and checking pulse at break
One clinician ready to take over CPR (opposite current CPR clinician)
One clinician ready to place back plate
One clinician straddling patient to lift slightly for back plate placement
Backplate placed on 3rd pulse check
Machine clipped in during 2-minute cycle WITHOUT INTERUPTING CPR PERFORMANCE
Complete LUCAS application at next pulse check
