Welcome to mCED, IISER-Kolkata
Our aim is to understand biological complexities from the molecular level up to the genetic, composite, structural, and functional levels using physics-based methods. Modern computers are used to investigate biomolecular systems under native and perturbing conditions. Molecular dynamics methods combined with statistical mechanics principles are utilized to investigate various biological problems, including protein folding and thermal stability, amyloidogenic pathways, solvent influence on biomolecular dynamics, membrane-protein interactions, protein-nucleic acid interactions, and machine learning and method development. This approach offers a powerful "computational nanoscope" to gain insight into complex biological systems.
