Library Mission Statement
The mission of Madison Creek Elementary Library Media Center is to enable students and staff to become life-long learners and effective users of ideas and information. We strive to provide quality resources and instruction which supports the curriculum to promote learning and a love of reading, both for information and pleasure. Our collection will reflect the needs of its patrons through materials that are current and relevant to the curriculum and interest. We desire to provide a setting for students to develop the necessary skills to locate, evaluate, analyze, interpret, and communicate information and ideas effectively, both now and in the future.
Meet the Librarian
Mrs. Nitsch taught fourth grade at Madison Creek for 29 years. Even though she loved the classroom, she had always wanted to be a librarian. She is thrilled to be the librarian at Madison Creek and looks forward to growing a love of reading in the students!
