Biography

MC is an American director and theatre practitioner from Grand Rapids, Michigan, currently residing and working in London, England. They’re previous directing credits include a short spoken-word piece titled “Pretty in Gender,” with The Source - Queer Youth Festival, in February 2025. Their previous credits while in the United States include Chicago: The Musical (Betka-Pope Productions), Noises Off (Holland Community Theatre), Little Shop of Horrors (Muskegon Civic Theatre), Sylvia (Lowell Arts), The Game (Grand Rapids Civic Theatre), and Almost, Maine (Grand Valley State University). They also served as the Director of Dramatic Activities at East Grand Rapid Public Schools for the 2022/2023 school year, and the Green Show Director for the Grand Valley Shakespeare Festival from 2021 - 2023. They are currently contracted to serve as the co-director and choreographer for Allendale High School in the 2025/2026 school year.
