In the Aesthetics and Theory of Communications (AET) course, you will investigate the important role aesthetics play in engaging and appealing to an audience. This eight-week course will examine the theories of sight, sound, and motion as applied to the design of communication products for different media formats. You will learn strategies for creative composition and consider the psychological and physiological implications of images. Finally, the course will examine differences in aesthetics across cultures and how these differences impact their professional media projects.
