Britt was amazing. She came over & met our two pups well in advance of her stay with them & they got along right away. During her stay she sent multiple updates everyday, became an excellent friends to the pups & made us feel so comfortable being away. The only problem is now we need to plan any vacations without the pups around her schedule. 10 out of 10. Thanks Britt!!!!! 

Finding a dog walker/sitter is always a little challenging, but for folks with reactive pets it can be downright frustrating to find the right fit. After searching forever I hit the jackpot with Britt & McCann’s Canines.

What drew me to Britt initially was her understanding that my reactive, (very strong) rescue Pittie Conan needed more than just a walk around the block. He needed structure, positive reinforcement, and someone who would be as committed to his growth as I was. Britt exceeded all my expectations.

From day one, she's been Conan's coach, his cheerleader, and my therapist. Not only does she provide the necessary structure during walks, but she's also a master at finding creative ways to expand Conan's comfort zone. Coffee shops, Home Depot, you name it – she's turned them into impromptu training sessions.

I don’t trust anyone else to watch my pets while I’m away (I’ve scheduled vacations around HER schedule). She’s a pro at administering meds, safely managing & rotating pets in the home who can’t be in the same room as each other, and through it all she is cool as a cucumber and sends frequent pictures & updates.

I love that she is always evolving her approach and services to meet the needs of her families. The launch of enrichment walks and Dog School were game changers and are such great alternatives to daycare! Conan is always zonked out from the brain games, yoga, or field trips for a day or two afterwards (and he’s not picking up bad behaviors – wins all around).

But perhaps what sets Britt apart the most is her genuine love and affection for Conan and all the pets she cares for. As someone who has worked in the veterinary field and dealt with “high maintenance” pets for years, I can say with certainty that Britt's level of care and dedication is unparalleled. She's got a loyal fanbase for a reason.

She has been with us through thick and thin, from moves to surgeries to navigating behavioral challenges, she's been a constant source of support and guidance. At this point, Britt has become an essential part of our family, and I honestly don't know what we'd do without her. If you're looking for more than just a pet sitter or dog walker, but a true partner in your pet's well-being, look no further than McCann’s Canines!
