1. Introduction This Privacy Policy applies to all watch faces and wearable applications developed by MCB Watch Faces for the Wear OS platform, including their respective Android mobile companion applications. Your privacy is our top priority, and we operate under a "Privacy by Design" principle.
2. No Data Collection Neither our watch faces nor our Android companion applications collect, store, share, or transmit any personally identifiable information, location history, or user identifiers. We do not have servers to store your information, and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
3. Permissions and Use of Features To provide a rich experience, our apps utilize certain local features. All data processed from these features remains locally on your device and is never sent to us or external parties.
Wear OS Watch Face Features:
Health and Fitness (Health Services): Access to Body Sensors (Heart Rate) and Physical Activity (Step Count, Calories, Distance) to display your fitness progress in real-time.
Sensors and Motion: Use of the Gyroscope and Accelerometer for animations or interaction effects.
Environmental Data: Access to Weather, Forecast, and Moon Phase information.
Device Status: Monitoring of Battery Level and charging status.
Notifications: Access to the notification count or unread message indicators.
System Complications: Integration with any user-selected complication.
Android Mobile Companion App:
The mobile companion app serves purely as a helper tool designed to facilitate the installation of the watch face on your Wear OS device. It provides basic external links to leave a review, view our developer page, join our Telegram channel, or contact us. It does not require special permissions and does not track or collect user information.
4. Data Retention and Deletion Because our applications do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers, we do not retain any user data. Any health, sensor, or system data accessed is processed purely locally on your device in real-time and is only held in the device's temporary memory. Since we do not hold any of your personal data, there is no data for us to delete upon request. However, you have full control over your local data. You can instantly delete all locally processed data and revoke permissions at any time by:
Clearing the data and cache of both the watch face and the companion app through your device settings.
Uninstalling the watch face and the companion app from your devices.
5. Data Security & Diagnostic Logs Since no personal data is collected or transmitted by us, there is no risk of your information being compromised from our servers. We rely on the native security of the Android and Wear OS ecosystems. Please note that we use Google Play Services for app distribution. In the event of an app crash, Google Play may automatically collect anonymous, non-personal diagnostic data (such as device model and OS version) to help developers fix bugs, as outlined in Google’s Privacy Policy.
6. Children’s Privacy Our applications are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete it.
7. Third-Party Services and External Links Our mobile companion app contains external links to third-party platforms (such as Telegram, email clients, and the Google Play Store). Once you click these links, you are subject to the privacy policies of those external services.
