About Department

• MCA is established in the year 1991 with the intake 30, now the intake is 60.  

• There is a well equipped computer lab. 

• The Department has well qualified and experienced teaching staff and lab faculty. 

• The Department organizes Seminars, Workshops and Guest lectures on current trending  topics by eminent and experienced personnel from the industry and other institutions.

• Pre-Placement Training programs are also conducted to equip the students with relevant knowledge to face interviews. 

Collaborations

The Department collaborates with Data point to offer Academic Projects , Internships and Certificate Courses  for  MCA and to support students for providing innovative skills in software and Aptitude Development. , and  to encourage the students  for  education activities,  and to improve the quality of teaching staff  through Short Term / Long Term certificate courses, providing academic interaction by delivering lectures on topics relevant to modern industry with necessary help in organizing workshops/conferences, training our students under software development programs with guidance for enhancement of IT Infrastructural development at our College and provide Software and Hardware Services if required.

•  Alumni are in highly respectable professional positions in various industries. 

• They mentor the juniors on career, industry opportunities, higher education (Indian/Overseas), feedback/suggestions for improvement on training etc. 

• In addition to that a facility of exchanging information through e-mails is also provided.

Activities

• The Department conducts Group discussions, class room seminars, quiz, field oriented studies and Campus recruitment Training etc.,. 

• The students are assigned with project work in final semester. 

• They participate in various inter college competitions like paper presentation, Essay writing, Elocution, Singing, Indoor and Outdoor games etc..
