Kwangsung Oh is an assistant professor in the Computer Science Department @ the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO). His research interests include cloud computing, edge computing, and data analytics-related systems. He received his Ph.D. from the Computer Science Department @ the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, where he worked with his advisors, Prof. Abhishek Chandra and Prof. Jon Weissman. Before joining the U of M, he was a software engineer at Samsung SDS for five years.
Ji Young Lee is a postdoctoral researcher since Spring 2025, specializing in deep learning, computer vision, and UAS. Her research focuses on leveraging vision-based inspection techniques to address real-world challenges in infrastructure monitoring. She earned her Ph.D. from the School of Computing at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where she was advised by Prof. Carrick Detweiler, Prof. Justin Bradley, and Prof. Chungwook Sim.
Anshuman started as a Master's student in Fall 2021 and is currently into his 2nd year of PhD. His present research is based on designing scalable cloud computing systems for performance- and cost-aware data analytics using machine learning.
Rajas is a Master’s student in Computer Science who began his studies in Fall 2025. His work focuses on optimizing geo-distributed data analytics (GDA) in multi-cloud environments by predicting workloads and determining optimal cloud configurations across regions.
Keisuke is a computer science student who joined the MC2Lab in December 2024. He is currently working on improving the performance of Smartpick+, focusing on enhancing its efficiency and effectiveness.
