2022 Sponsorship Opportunities

For more than 20 years there was a fishing tournament held in Manchester, put on for the town and surrounding community by members of the Manchester Harbor Boat Club. The organizers eventually tired, and there was nobody to step up and take on the effort, so it concluded in 2011. In 2020 the original organizers' son-in-law resurrected the tournament and it was a great success. Over 90 entrants participated in the covid-safe event including both new and seasoned anglers across all ages.

Last year we had 111 participants, up from 93 in 2020, and we hope to break the 150 threshold this year. We've brought on several high-school-age members to our planning board which we expect will help grow our younger participants and continue to generate great buzz within the community. We have also received a grant from the Hooper Fund to help us get more young anglers involved.

We are seeking sponsors to support the stability of the event year to year with a focus this year on great fishing related prizes.
