In the Street Children Empowerment Data Project, I served as the Data Analyst and Visualization Specialist. My primary role involved collecting and analyzing data, as well as creating impactful visualizations to communicate our findings effectively.
To achieve our goal, I collaborated closely with a diverse team, including social workers from local NGOs, fellow students specializing in social sciences, and a project manager. The social workers provided valuable insights into the needs and realities of street children, while my peers contributed their expertise in research methodologies and project management.
The outcome of the project was highly rewarding. Our final report, supported by clear visualizations, was presented to several NGOs and local government officials. It helped raise awareness about the challenges faced by street children and informed strategies for targeted interventions. As a result, some organizations implemented new support programs based on our findings, positively impacting the community.
