When we think about discipleship, the first thing that comes to mind for most is probably some sort of structured program. Or maybe a practice for advanced Christians only. A disciple might seek out a discipler whom he or she greatly admires or aspires to be like, having watched the prospective discipler from up close or a from distance, carefully discerning their actions all the while. But what does the bible say about discipleship?

The Lord has built into us the ability to experience 'fear'. People, situations, nature, the environment. These 'created order' fear examples ae intended to provide heightened awareness and or to protect us. God also tells us that we are to fear Him as a form of our submission and worship.

Discipline is really a part of disciplining is it not? It is a reality that we should embrace and pursue as a 'positive' element of the discipleship process in our homes.
