Minimum admission requirements (for foreign students):
Admission dates to Rostov State Medical University for international students: one admission per year for all faculties.
For Russian-language faculties, admissions are open from June 20 to July 22.
For English-language general medicine faculties, admissions are open from June 20 to October 10.
For preparatory faculties, admissions are open from June 20 to November 30.
Admissions to Rostov State Medical University are based strictly on merit;
The student must have turned 17 years old by December 31 of the year of admission to the General Medicine (General Medicine) course.
Successful completion of senior secondary school.
The minimum requirement is an average of 65-70% marks in senior secondary school, including English.
NEET results (for candidates from India only)
Guarantee of compliance with payment terms.
Admission to the first year of training in 2025 for all higher education specialties is carried out at Rostov State Medical University based on the results of two entrance examinations, including Chemistry and Biology.

Step 1. APPLICATION AND REGISTRATION
Application form can be obtained from the website or from our official representative. Admission will be confirmed only after review of candidate's documents/application form and with approval of RostSMU admission committee.
Online application form through our website or student can request it from our representative.
High school certificate mark sheet (where we can see English, Chemistry, Physics and Biology grades/marks for Indian students and only English, Chemistry and Biology grades/marks for international students).
A secondary certificate indicating the date of birth.
A recent HIV test report. (The name must be the one on the passport, date of birth and passport number)
A valid passport with a minimum duration of 2 years.
The age limit for applicants to higher education establishments is 17-28 years. For postgraduate candidates - 35 years. For PhD candidates - 45 years.

Note: Admissions will be refused by unauthorized persons or agents.
Step 2. ADMISSION LETTER
After due consideration (usually takes 5-7 working days) if your application receives a positive response, we will send you a provisional admission letter signed by the Dean of Foreign Students confirming the acceptance of the documents for admission and the invitation letter.
Step 3. INVITATION LETTER
You must confirm in writing your decision to enter RostSMU. At that time, we will start preparing all the necessary documents to issue an official invitation letter through the Federal Migration Service Department. The procedure takes about 18-25 days, so early confirmation is recommended. Your Invitation Letter will be sent to you by email or you can pick it up from our representative.
Step 4. VISA, ENTRY TO RUSSIA AND REGISTRATION AT THE UNIVERSITY
As soon as you receive the original invitation letter, you should go to the Consular Department of the Russian Embassy in your country and apply for a Russian student visa. Applicants can count on the assistance of our representative for all the documentation.
IMPORTANT: For other countries, we will send the entire list of necessary documents according to the Russian Embassy in your home country; for Indian students, our official representative will take care of all the work, from admission, invitation, visa, ticket, ministerial apostille, etc.
Students must bring the following documents to enter the territory of the Russian Federation and be admitted to the university:
Passport (valid for no less than 2 years);
Student entry visa;
Immigration card (given during the flight or at the airport; must be filled out by the student and stamped by customs at the airport immediately after arrival in Russia)
Negative AIDS test result, Certificate of medical fitness, Chest X-ray.
15 passport-sized (3.5-4.5 mm) colour photographs in matte finish.
For candidates gaining admission to the basic course or the first year of study:
Original of the completed upper secondary education certificate (including grade sheet/academic transcript), which must be legalized/apostilled (i.e. stamped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (or Ministry of Education) and the Embassy/Consulate General of the Russian Federation in the country where the student obtained the certificate).
2 copies of the completed legalized/apostilled upper secondary education certificate (including grade sheet/academic transcript) notarized at the Embassy/Consulate General of the Russian Federation and translated into Russian; The translation must be certified by a notary of the Embassy/Consulate General of the Russian Federation in your country and attached to the copies. All pages of the copies must be numbered, stamped and officially sealed.
For candidates gaining admission to the Master's, Postgraduate or PhD course
Original of the higher education degree (including grade sheet/academic transcript for all academic years with subjects, grades and hours for each subject listed) which must be legalized/apostilled, (i.e. stamped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (or Ministry of Education) and the Embassy/Consulate General of the Russian Federation in the country where the student obtained the certificate).
2 copies of the legalized/apostilled higher education degree (including grade sheet/academic transcript) notarized at the Embassy/Consulate General of the Russian Federation and translated into Russian language; The translation must be certified by a notary of the Embassy/Consulate General of the Russian Federation in your country and attached to the copies. All pages of the copies must be numbered, stamped and officially sealed.
Therefore, each legalized document must have 2 or more stamps:
Legalization stamp of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country that issued your educational documents
Legalization stamp of the Embassy/Consulate General of the Russian Federation in the country that issued your educational documents.
IMPORTANT: These documents must be with every student from any country in the world before entering Russia and RostSMU, without these sets of original documents the university cannot accept your admission.
Reception of students in Russia:
All incoming foreign students will be met at the place of arrival in Russia only by the authorized representative of the University.
