Manuel Barrientos Cifuentes

I'm Manuel Barrientos, from Chile.

Currently, I'm pursuing my PhD in economics at Durham University, UK. I studied economics (BA) and environmental & resource economics (MSc) at Universidad de Concepcion, Chile.

I am interested in contributing to the understanding of how individuals make decisions regarding environmental issues. But more specifically, I would like to bring together the advances in choice modeling, behavioral economics, and environmental & resource economics.

I'm doing my PhD under the EU project: "Economic incentives to control microplastic pollution: An analysis of farm and household decision making using discrete choice experiments ". More information at SOPLAS Project.
