Babar is a distinguished researcher with robust energy management and optimization expertise, showcased through his extensive publication record of over 50 peer-reviewed articles in top-tier international journals and conferences. His proficiency extends to mentoring, having supervised numerous final-year projects and theses, as well as guiding doctoral students in engineering and computer science disciplines. His influence also transcends academia, as demonstrated by his pivotal role in European Union-funded projects focused on grid-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-grid integration using machine learning and optimization algorithms. Babar's contributions reach beyond research, as he serves as a respected reviewer for esteemed journals like IEEE, Elsevier, Wiley, Springer, IET, and Taylor & Francis, underscoring his deep understanding of the field. Currently a GET-COFUND Marie Curie Fellow at UAH, Babar continues to push the boundaries of energy management by developing innovative algorithms for efficient energy demand management.
