About Me

I’m a globally engaged academic and AI and embedded systems engineer with 10+ years of experience in AI-driven optimisation, smart grid technologies, and energy systems modelling. Currently a Researcher at the University of Alcala, I specialise in hardware verification, accelerator design, and intelligent energy management.

My research bridges embedded systems and large-scale sustainability challenges, ranging from EV scheduling and peer-to-peer energy trading to energy-water-hydrogen nexus optimisation. As a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow and Global Talent Visa recipient, I’ve led multi-institutional projects across the UK, EU, and the Middle East, securing over £1M in competitive funding.

I’m passionate about translating complex algorithms into real-world impact, whether through AI-enabled logistics, dynamic pricing models, or resilient energy infrastructure. With 60+ publications and active collaborations across Europe and North America, I continue to mentor emerging researchers and drive innovation at the intersection of engineering and sustainability.
