Generally, MBA eligibility requires candidates to have completed their graduation in any field (science, commerce, arts) with an aggregate of 50% or above. However, MBA eligibility may also vary depending on the colleges. For example, top-tier MBA colleges such as Indian Institutes of Business require high graduation grades, typically between 50% and 60%, along with a CAT score of 80 or above. They also conduct written tests and personal interviews. Other institutions may accept XAT, GMAT, or CAT scores and generally require a graduation score of 50% to 55%. Admission to MBA courses is solely based on entrance examinations, followed by Group Discussion (GD), Written Aptitude Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) to assess the personality of the candidates. The entrance examinations considered for MBA courses are CAT, CMAT, XAT, MAH MBA CET, GMAT and ATMA. Latest MBA Course Updates:

• The first phase registration for TS ICET Counselling MBA 2025 will start from September 1, 2025.

• XAT 2025 registration for MBA/PGDM courses has opened and the last date is November 30, 2025. Candidates can visit the official website and register themselves on it. Moreover, the XAT 2025 exam will be conducted on January 5, 2026.

• ATMA July 2025 result has been declared. Candidates can log in and check or download their results on the official website.

• Karnataka PGCET 2025 answer key has been released.

• OJEE counselling 2025 second round seat allotment has been released. The last date for payment of fees/freeze and float option is August 8, 2025 and the option to withdraw seat is open till August 10, 2025. Further, registrations for the final round of OJEE 2025 examinations are open till August 11, 2025 and the seat allotment result will be released on August 14, 2025.

• Registrations are ongoing for NMAT 2025 examination for MBA/PGDBA courses for the academic year 2025-27 – last date to apply is October 10, 2025. Further, NMAT 2025 examination has been scheduled from November 5 to December 20, 2025.

• Provisional merit list for MAH MBA CET CAP 2025 examination has been released and last date for filing complaints is 7 August 2025 (till 5 pm). Further, the final merit list will be displayed on August 9, 2025.

• The result of the allotment of seats for registration in Phase 1 of AP ICET counselling 2025 will be released on August 12, 2025.

• Registration for CAT 2025 is open for MBA courses and the last date for registration is September 13, 2025 (till 5 pm). Further, the CAT 2025 exam has been scheduled for November 24, 2025.

• Registration for MAT 2025 for August session is open for IBT Phase 1 and CBT exams and the last date for registration is August 9, 2025 and August 11, 2025 respectively. The last date to apply for the PBT exam is 18th August 2025.
