Welcome to MB Mowing, where we prioritize straightforward, efficient service. Our policies reflect a practical approach to ensuring you receive the best care, whether it’s regarding customer responsibilities, safety guidelines, add-on services, or the unpredictable Ohio weather. We are flexible with scheduling and understand that life can throw curveballs—bad weather? We’ll catch you on the next dry day. Your satisfaction is our priority.
By agreeing to our services, you are granting MB Mowing temporary access to your yard for the purpose of providing the agreed-upon services. If access is unavailable or restricted (such as locked gates), a trip fee may apply. We will mow around obstacles, but we are not liable for damage to items left in the yard or for incomplete service due to obstructions.
Any service changes, including skips or frequency adjustments, should be submitted at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to notify us within this timeframe may result in expedited processing fees. Clients may cancel services at any time, but cancellations without at least 48 hours' notice may result in charges and/or service cancellation.
We avoid using high-velocity equipment near delicate materials like granite, mulch, or rocks. Additionally, we cannot service yards with pets or animals present due to liability concerns.
Prices are based on current market rates and are subject to change. Any adjustments will be discussed and agreed upon before implementation.
Mowing Outside Scheduled Service: We allow up to two skips per growing season (Spring and Early Fall). For lawns that grow slowly, we recommend soil treatments or proper watering. Mowing outside the scheduled service time can create a "rush" scenario, affecting overall scheduling. If you require mowing outside of your selected schedule, it will be priced at the One-time Cut/Rush Cut rate. Mowing for the primary season runs from April 1 to August 15th, during which we typically mow 9 times, spaced at 14 days per mowing. Adjustments may be made depending on weather.
Customer Responsibilities: Homeowners are responsible for notifying MB Mowing of any changes to their lawn conditions, needs, or preferences, which might affect service. This ensures we maintain a service tailored to your specific requirements.
Add-On Services: Services like flower bed care, weed control, brush growth management, or tree limb removal are available as add-ons to your selected package. These services may be in addition to your regular lawn care and can be customized depending on your needs. Let us know if you wish to upgrade or add services to ensure we provide the best care possible.
Hindrances: It is the homeowner's responsibility to remove any obstacles—such as dog waste, rocks, fallen fencing, overgrown brush, or excessive trash—that may impede the normal mowing process. Any delay caused by hindrances could result in additional charges or rescheduling.
Courtesy & Safety Guidelines: For everyone's safety, please ensure children, pets, and others are kept away from the work area while MB Mowing is on-site. Homeowners should maintain their property free of hazards that could affect the safety of our personnel during service. This includes ensuring gates are unlocked and accessible for our team on service days.
Mowing Overgrown Grass: If one area of your property is overgrown compared to the rest, additional charges may apply. Overgrown grass puts a strain on equipment and requires more time to mow. During summer months, grass grows faster and becomes more difficult to manage if left unattended. We understand that Ohio’s weather is unpredictable, and we’ll work with you to keep your lawn under control, but it's essential to stay ahead of the growth.
Removal of Personal Items: Homeowners are responsible for removing any personal items, including grills, lawn furniture, planters, or other obstructions, before our arrival. We are not responsible for any damage to items that remain in the yard.
Lawn Preparation: To ensure efficient service, remove toys, debris, and obstacles from the lawn before our visit. Gates should be easily accessible, so we can complete the job without delay.
Notice of Pending Arrival: We will notify you at least 20 minutes before we arrive, allowing you time to prepare—whether it's bringing pets inside or ensuring access to gates.
Weather Policy: Our services are always weather permitting. If the conditions aren’t ideal for mowing, we’ll reschedule for the next available dry day. Your lawn's care is our priority, but we work within what the weather allows.
Cancellation & Rescheduling: Please provide at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. If you cancel without giving the required notice, a cancellation fee may be applied and/or may result in complete service cancellation.
Property Access: Gates and access points should be unlocked and free of obstructions to allow us to service your lawn on the scheduled date. If access is restricted or if the property is not ready, a trip fee may apply.
Equipment Limitations: We have limitations with our equipment when it comes to mowing extremely steep slopes or uneven terrain. We will discuss any such limitations with you in advance to ensure clarity.
Satisfaction Guarantee: We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction. If for any reason you are not pleased with our service, please inform us immediately, and we will do our best to resolve any concerns.
Payments: Payments are due within 24 hours of completion of service. We accept the agreed-upon payment methods and will always discuss payment expectations upfront.
Customer Feedback: Your feedback is incredibly valuable to us. Please share your experiences to help us continually improve and provide you with the best possible service.
Thank you for choosing MB Mowing. We are here to provide exceptional service and care for your lawn!
