Mazevara is developed and operated by Federico Carta ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the Mazevara Android application, why it is processed, and the choices available to you.

Mazevara uses Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication. When you sign in, Google and Firebase process information needed to authenticate you, such as your Google account identifier, email address, display name, device and security information, IP address, and user-agent information. Mazevara uses the resulting Firebase user identifier to associate your game data with your account.
Mazevara does not publish your email address on the leaderboard. Your email address is not stored in Mazevara's Firestore player or leaderboard records.
If you participate in the ranking system, Mazevara processes your chosen public name (either your Google display name or an alias), score, login streak, and relevant game activity. Your public name, score, and streak information may be visible to other signed-in Mazevara players on the leaderboard.
Mazevara processes information needed to save and restore your game, including tutorial status, selected character, completed or attempted challenges, collected items, inventory, scores, streak information, and game settings. Some preferences and progress may also be stored locally on your device.
Mazevara uses Google AdMob to show interstitial and rewarded advertisements, and Google's User Messaging Platform to request and manage privacy choices where required. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect or receive information such as your IP address (which may be used to estimate general location), device or advertising identifiers, interactions with the app and advertisements, and diagnostic information.
Depending on your region and the privacy choices you make, advertisements may be personalized or non-personalized. You can review available advertising consent choices through the Privacy choices option in the app.
Mazevara does not request access to your device's precise location.
We process information to:
authenticate users and protect accounts;
save, synchronize, and restore game progress;
provide rankings and other game features;
show and measure advertisements, including rewarded advertisements;
remember settings and privacy choices;
maintain security, prevent fraud, diagnose problems, and improve reliability;
comply with applicable legal obligations.
Where applicable, processing is based on providing the service you request, our legitimate interests in operating and securing Mazevara, your consent (including where required for advertising), and compliance with legal obligations.
We use Google services, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Google AdMob, and the User Messaging Platform. Google may process information on our behalf or for its own purposes as described in Google's applicable terms and privacy documentation.
We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or a valid request from a competent authority, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the app, or others from fraud, abuse, or security threats.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not provide a native chat or user-content sharing feature.
Account and cloud game data are retained while your account remains active or for as long as needed to provide Mazevara, maintain security, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Local data remains on your device until it is cleared, the app is uninstalled, or you delete your account through the app.
When you delete your account, Mazevara requests deletion of your Firebase Authentication account and associated player, leaderboard, cloud-save, and local app data. Residual copies may remain temporarily in service-provider backups and logs before being removed according to the provider's retention processes.
You may:
change available advertising consent settings through Privacy choices in the app;
choose an alias instead of your Google display name for the leaderboard;
delete your account from User Profile → Delete account and complete reauthentication when requested;
contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection where those rights apply;
withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal;
lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
If account deletion inside the app does not work, contact mazevara.support@proton.me from the email address associated with the account and explain your request.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards and rely on Google services that encrypt data in transit and at rest. No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Google services may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, appropriate legal safeguards are used for international transfers.
Mazevara is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
We may update this Privacy Policy when Mazevara, its services, or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
