4.1 Information Sharing
For Workers:
Worker name, profile picture, skills, ratings, and approximate location may be visible to clients. CNIC and verification photos are never shared with clients.
For Clients:
Client name and approximate location may be visible to workers contacted by the client. Contact information is only shared with workers the client chooses to connect with.
4.2 Third-Party Service Providers
MazDoor Connect may use third-party services to operate and improve the app, including:
• Firebase (Google) — Authentication, database, and cloud storage
• Cloud Storage — Secure storage of verification documents
• Analytics Services — App performance and anonymized usage data
• SMS Gateway — OTP and notifications
These third-party services may collect and process information according to their own privacy policies.

• Active Accounts: Data is retained while your account is active

• Verification Documents: Verification documents may be retained for 90 days after deletion for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or security purposes
6. Your Rights and Choices
6.1 Access and Update

6.2 Delete Your Account
Users may request account deletion or delete their account from app settings, where available.
After deletion:

• Verification documents may be retained for up to 90 days where required for legal compliance or platform safety

7. Camera Permission
MazDoor Connect may request camera permission to allow users and workers to capture or upload:
• Profile photos
• CNIC front photo
• CNIC back photo
• Live selfie
• Live selfie holding CNIC
• Job-related images
Camera access is used only when the user chooses to capture or upload an image. Camera permission is required for identity verification and profile-related features. Images collected for verification are used only for verification, platform security, and fraud prevention.
8. Location Permission
MazDoor Connect may request location permission to help clients find nearby workers and to help workers receive relevant service requests. Location data may be used to show approximate worker/client location in the app.
Users can disable location access from their device settings, but some app features may not work properly without location permission.
9. Children’s Privacy
MazDoor Connect is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify users through:
