  • Instructor of Record, Department of Geography and Environmental Studies, Texas State University. August 2021 - Present

-Taught and Graded Undergraduate Geography of North Africa and the Middle East (Geo 3328).

-Conducted individual and group assessments to ensure that students had derived adequate knowledge of GIS tools and resources from Geo 4427.

-Provided GIS technical advice and support to senior GIS students enrolled in a GIS Practicum class (Geo 4427), where students were given the opportunity to complete certain GIS tasks allocated to them by Austin Fire Department and other GIS professional agencies in Central Texas.


  • Geographic Information Systems (Intern), Texas General Land Office, Austin, TX. May 2021 – August 2021

-Updated statewide easements and surface leases on Texas government-owned lands using ArcGIS Pro tools.

-Edited and revised spatial data accruing to the Original Texas Land Survey (OTLS) using ArcGIS Pro in order to reflect its current status.

-Edited and improved the General Land Offices' State land grid data using ArcGIS Pro in an ongoing project to create a standalone state land grid hosted by the General Land Office.

-Interpreted, analyzed, and mapped out US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) geologic core sediments to check for locations with beach quality sand along the Texas coastal region using MS Office and ArcGIS Pro tools.

-Reviewed and updated records of Texas State Real Properties using ArcGIS Pro tools.

-Created historical story maps of Texas depicting Texas history using ArcGIS Hub in collaboration with the Texas Department of Archives.

-Performed quality control checks to ensure data integrity on all projects assigned to me.
