In 2021, I suffered a catastrophic rupture of my quadriceps tendon in my left leg; it left me feeling weak and vulnerable. As I rehabbed my leg, I realized I needed to challenge myself. So I set a goal and worked toward it; and eleven months after surgery, at 55 years of age, I stepped onto a bodybuilding stage for the first time. It was a painful process but I managed to win the over 50 classic division, and took 2nd in the over 50 bodybuilding division. The following year I won the over 50 bodybuilding division at the Connecticut Grand Prix. Most recently, this year, I won the over 50 bodybuilding division at the NPC Eastern USA Championships.
I would like to share my experiences, knowledge and purpose with others as I continue to pursue my own goals. I believe in the power of discipline and resilience, and I’m committed to helping others find their path to wellness and strength.

You have to learn to love the gym. I feel the way to get to that point is to work with people, to find what exercises work for them. Everyone is different, no single exercise program is going to work for every individual. There are so many different pieces of equipment, and so many exercise variations so people can find a way to work around injuries, or existing physical limitations. I will help you find exercises that work best for you. It will take some trial and error, but in the end the goal is to work all your muscle groups in a way that doesn’t feel uncomfortable.
