About me

As a scholar of German literature, my research focuses on  literature around 1800 and explores questions at the intersection of historical discourse, affect studies and environmental humanities. As an instructor of German language and culture, I teach classes of all German levels, from beginners to advanced. A French native, my love of German, English and French literatures and cultures has taken me to the universitities of King's College London, Cambridge, St Andrews and Bonn. I am currently a 4th year PhD student in the Carolina-Duke program in German Studies where I am a James B. Duke Fellow.
