RESEARCH ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
MIT ART, DESIGN and TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY, PUNE
I am a Ph.D. graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jammu, with a strong passion for advancing material science and engineering. My research centered on revolutionizing polymer composites by enhancing the fatigue properties of hybrid materials—crucial for applications demanding durability and performance.
To achieve this, I engineered fiber surfaces with cutting-edge nanoparticle-infused sizing formulations and innovatively modified the polymer matrix using nanoparticles. By comparing these two approaches, I uncovered new insights into optimizing composite performance. My work bridges the gap between material innovation and real-world application, contributing to the development of stronger, more resilient materials for diverse industries.
I am eager to contribute my expertise as a Research Scientist in a dynamic, practical setting and share my knowledge as faculty in academia.
I am currently working as Research Assistant Professor at MIT-ADT University, Pune
