Bus Stop Films — All In — Perth Production | 2026

I was fortunate to be selected for an Inclusive Producer Attachment with Bus Stop Films, a national film school that supports people living with disability to develop their filmmaking skills and produces more than 20 short films across Australia each year.

For the Perth production of All In, produced by Stas Lambetsos and written and directed by Alana Spencer, I worked alongside the producing team in a producer assistant role, gaining first-hand insight into the practical, creative and — perhaps most importantly — human work involved in bringing a production to life.

The experience reinforced something I’m increasingly drawn to about producing: community is a huge part of the job.Working alongside people living with disability was a genuinely joyful experience. The cast and crew brought an incredibly kind, curious and generous energy to set, creating one of the calmest and most collaborative productions I’ve worked on.

The day ran so smoothly that we wrapped an hour ahead of schedule — a testament to the preparation, communication and care across the team.

I came away with a deeper understanding of what it takes to support a production from the inside: anticipating needs, communicating clearly, keeping things moving and creating an environment where people can do their best work.
