The May12th Event at IISER Tirupati

Following on last year's success, The Math Club at IISER Tirupati is joining the worldwide efforts of the May 12 Initiative, and we are organizing the One Day Event, "Celebrating Women in Mathematics". Join us, as we learn, share and inspire each other in the joys of mathematics. Scroll below and see the wide array of events. Whether you'll be attending online, or attending in-person, there's bound to be something to keep you engaged.

Movie Screening

Get to know the inspiring chronicles of Fields Medalist, Maryam Mirzakhani through the documentry - 'Secrets of the Surface'

Mathematical Fair

Time : 10:00 - 11:00 am

Venue : LH-3 (LHC)

An informal and dynamic gathering where math enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds come together to share their favorite mathematical stories, theorems, objects, or puzzles. Each speaker will have a 10-minute time slot to present their mathematical gem, followed by 1-2 questions from the audience.
