As a SkillsUSA Parliamentarian of CAT South I am tasked with ensuring all other SkillsUSA officers work efficiently and follow all SkillsUSA rules. I advise the president and vice-president on decisions and rulings.

NICE Framework - Systems Administrator

Job Description: Responsible for setting up and maintaining a system or specific components of a system (e.g. for example, installing, configuring, and updating hardware and software; establishing and managing user accounts; overseeing or conducting backup and recovery tasks; implementing operational and technical security controls; and adhering to organizational security policies and procedures).

Tasks Required:

• T0029 (P) - Conduct functional and connectivity testing to ensure continuing operability.
• T0054 (P)- Design group policies and access control lists to ensure compatibility with organizational standards, business rules, and needs.
• T0063 (P)- Develop and document systems administration standard operating procedures.
• T0136 (P)- Maintain baseline system security according to organizational policies.
• T0144 (P)- Manage accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment.
• T0186 (P)- Plan, execute, and verify data redundancy and system recovery procedures.

Skills Required:

• K0001 (NI)-Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies.
• K0002 - Knowledge of risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk).
• K0003 - Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cyber-security and privacy.
• K0004 - Knowledge of cyber-security and privacy principles.
• K0005 - Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• K0006 - Knowledge of specific operational impacts of cyber-security lapses.
