I am a PhD student in mathematics at KU Leuven (Belgium) under the supervision of Arno Kuijlaars working within the Classical Analysis group. Since November 2025, I am an FWO PhD fellow in fundamental research.
My research focuses on special functions (orthogonal polynomial) arising from integrable systems and integrable probability, drawing mostly from two sources. First, I study vector-valued generalizations of the Heckman-Opdam polynomials motivated by spin Calogero-Moser-Sutherland models. Second, I work with matrix-valued orthogonal polynomials to study large-size behavior of random hexagon tilings with doubly periodic weightings.
