Max grew up in San Antonio, Texas and is currently a living in East Lansing, Michigan. He likes to play guitar, piano, and bass. In 2024, he released his first single "Where We're Going".

Some of his major musical influences are Pink Floyd, David Gilmour, Jim Croce, The Beatles, and Elliott Smith. Some other artists he loves are Snail Mail, Cake Kemps, Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, Alvvays, and Mitski.
