I have a theoretical mind and enjoy contemplating abstract knowledge. Generally speaking, any beautiful or fancy combination of mathematics and the real world makes me happy. 

Besides common fundamental physics like general relativity and quantum field theory, I also love stochastic energretics so much! Jarzynski's equality is a very beautiful theorem. The microscopic definitions of heat, work and entropy are so interesting!

In the field of neuroscience and AI, I am mostly interested in learning theory. How does human learn abstract concepts, and integrate new knowledge with existing knowledge? I am also very interested in single-neuron level mechanism of the brain behind high level cognitive behaviors.

Based on my innateness and influenced by my education in PKU, I love reading philosophy books and some philosophy-ish social science books.  I especially love German philosophers. G.W.F Hegel is my favorite philosopher and I love his Phänomenologie des Geistes (《精神现象学》) so much! Recently I began to read Friedrich Nietzsche's books and also feel fascinated!

Music is my favorite art. 

For classical music, Johann Sebastian Bach is my favorite musician. I love his string music and organ music, especially Fugue. I also enjoy Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's and Frédéric Chopin's compositions.

For popular music, I love 王菲's and 邓丽君's songs mainly because of their fascinating voices. I also like 许嵩's compositions especially when I was a high school student.

I also love pure music played by Chinese ancient instruments, e.g. 二胡, 笛子, 箫, 古筝. For this reason, I am currently practicing 笛子 (Bamboo Flute) and can play some simple songs. 

I like anime series, TV series, video games, movies.....

My favorite anime series include Hunter x Hunter 1999, Dragon ball, Death Note, Attack on Titan, Ping Pong the animation..... My favorite games include Mount and Blade and Ninja Gaiden II.
