About Me

I am a family man and love to get to know new people. I have four amazing children and nine spunky grandchildren. I have lived in Montana for the majority of my life and love everything about it. I am thankful for the opportunity to travel across Montana with the mobile barber. 

I am a second-generation hairdresser and barber. I graduated from Cosmetology School in 1978. I worked and managed many family salons. In 1984, I opened Bozeman Beauty College on the campus of Montana State University. In 1990, I took over my father's beauty school, Mr. Mack's Beauty College, and renamed it Max's Bozeman Beauty College. Sadly, I had to close it in 2000.  After a while, I went to work with my father, Mack, at Mack's & Max's Barbershop on Main Street in Bozeman, MT. In April 2019, I bought Hair Affair and re-branded it as Max's Barber and Hair Affair.  

Victor is a 6 year old very friendly labradoodle. He travels with me and love meeting new people as much as I do!
