HELIX FLOW ("we", "us", "our") operates the HELIX FLOW mobile application (the "App"), designed to help users achieve better focus, productivity, and flow states.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App. By downloading, installing, or using HELIX FLOW, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve the App.
A. Information You Provide Directly
Optional account creation (if implemented): Email address, username, or password (we do not collect passwords in plain text — they are hashed).
User preferences and inputs: Flow session settings, focus goals, timers, notes, or progress logs you choose to save.
Contact/support messages: If you email us or use in-app feedback.
B. Automatically Collected Information
Device and usage data: Device type/model, operating system version, app version, language, time zone, IP address (approximate location only — city/country level).
App usage analytics: Session duration, screens visited, button taps, crash reports, performance metrics (via Google Firebase Analytics or similar — anonymized/non-personal).
No precise location tracking, camera, microphone, contacts, or other sensitive permissions unless explicitly needed and consented (e.g., optional background audio for focus sounds).
C. Information We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect financial information, payment details (if any in-app purchases are handled by Google Play Billing), precise geolocation, health data, photos, contacts, or messages unless you voluntarily provide them.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
Provide, maintain, and improve the core functionality of the App (e.g., saving your focus presets or progress).
Personalize your experience (e.g., remembering preferred timer durations).
Analyze usage trends to fix bugs and add features (aggregated/anonymized data only).
Communicate with you about App updates, support requests, or important notices.
Comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, or enforce our Terms.
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We may share information only in these limited cases:
With service providers (e.g., Google Firebase for crash reporting/analytics, cloud storage if you use account sync) — bound by strict confidentiality.
If required by law, court order, or government request.
In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (your data would remain protected under similar terms).
4. Third-Party Services
The App may use:

In-app purchases via Google Play Billing — handled by Google, not us.
We do not use advertising networks or trackers that profile you across apps.
5. Data Storage and Security
Data is stored securely on your device (local storage) and/or our cloud servers (if sync/feature enabled).

No method is 100% secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data retention: We keep data only as long as needed (usage analytics usually 12–26 months; account data until you delete it).
6. Your Rights and Choices
Access/update/delete: Contact us to request your data or deletion.
Opt-out: Disable analytics in App settings (if available) or limit ad tracking in device settings.
Delete account: If account feature exists, delete via settings or contact us.
For GDPR/CCPA users: You may have rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain processing — email us.
7. Children's Privacy
HELIX FLOW is not intended for children under 13 (or 16 in some jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
8. International Transfers
Data may be processed in Pakistan or other countries where our servers/providers are located. We use appropriate safeguards for transfers.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
