Hi, I am an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.

My main research interests are financial regulation and financial intermediation.

• I presented our paper "Nonlinear Bank Capital Regulation" (joint with Karl Schulz) at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors.

• I presented our paper "Relationship Nonbankers" (joint with Franz Hinzen) at the MFA 2026 in Chicago.

• Our paper "Clear(ed) decision: The effect of central clearing on firms' financing decision" (joint with Frederick Zadow) is now R&R at Management Science.

• I am visiting the Bank For International Settlements from December 1 to March 31, 2026.

• Our paper "Bank opacity -- patterns and implications" (joint with Stefan Avdjiev) is now R&R at the Journal of Money, Credit & Banking.
