Hi, I am an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.

My main research interests are financial regulation and financial intermediation.

• Our new paper "The evolving nexus: sovereigns, banks and NBFIs" (joint with Stefan Avdjiev and Bryan Hardy) is now available as BIS Working Paper No. 1369.

• I will present our paper "Nonlinear Bank Capital Regulation (joint with Karl Schulz) at the Bank of England on September 9.

• I will discuss the paper "QE-QT, Bank Liquidity Risk Management, and Non-Bank Funding: Evidence from Administrative Data" (by Matt Darst, Sotirios Kokas, Alexandros Kontonikas, Jose-Luis Peydro, and Alexandros Vardoulakis) at the EFA 2026 in Ghent.
