In this MSCA individual fellowship I work together with Jörg Schmiedmayer at the Atominstitut at TU Wien. We aim at developing new probing schemes for many-body quantum systems.
We are currently looking for master and PHD students.
Master project: Multi-pass cavity for dispersive imaging of ultracold atoms
PHD projects: New measurement schemes for quantum many-body systems
We will use Bose-Einstein condensate of Rubdium-87 which we trap with the help of an Atomchip. It utilizes magnetic fields for creating highly elongated one-dimensional atom traps.
For more information on the experiment have a look at the group homepage of the Schmiedmayer group.
