My research primarily focuses on the field of banking and financial macroeconomics, but also includes elements of microeconomics. My work intersects various domains, including banking and financial macroeconomics, economic growth, business cycles, and crises, all analyzed through the lens of panel data econometrics. Additionally, I am deeply interested in public policy evaluation, with a particular focus on financial microeconomics and, more specifically, local public finance.
Recently, I have been exploring the impact of climate shocks on financial stability, examining how environmental factors can affect economic and financial systems. This emerging area of research aims to understand the interplay between climate-related events and financial stability, and to develop strategies for mitigating potential risks associated with climate change.
