Set the Right Temperature (24°C - 26°C)
Many people set their AC to 16°C thinking it will cool faster, but this only increases electricity consumption. A temperature between 24°C and 26°C is ideal for the human body and significantly reduces the load on the compressor.
Clean Filters Every 15 Days
Dust buildup in AC filters blocks the airflow, reducing cooling efficiency and forcing the AC to work harder. Remove and wash the filters with clean water every two weeks to ensure smooth operation.
Keep the Outdoor Unit Shaded
The hotter the outdoor unit, the lower the cooling performance. If possible, install the outdoor unit in a shaded area away from direct sunlight, ensuring there is plenty of space for proper ventilation.
Use Ceiling Fans with AC
Run your ceiling fan at a low speed while the AC is on. This helps circulate the cool air throughout the room more quickly, making the space feel cooler and more comfortable in less time.
Annual Professional Maintenance
At least one professional service per year is essential. Regular gas pressure checks and chemical washing extend your AC’s lifespan and prevent sudden breakdowns during peak summer.
