Born in Bordeaux in 1979, Max Ducos was passionate about drawing from an early age.
As a teenager, he discovered painting which he practiced in a self-taught way until the Faculty of Plastic Arts in Bordeaux where he learned the true nature of this art. Marked by painting on the motif, he worked on the theme of the landscape for several years, before questioning the bases of his plastic creation and returning to the studio. He regularly exhibits his works at the Philippe Fregnac gallery in Paris. At the same time, he continued his studies at the Nationale School of Decorative Arts in Paris (ENSAD), where he trained first in volume, then in illustration, which allowed him to publish his final project "Jeu de piste at Volubilis" in 2006, and opened the door to a parallel career as an author-illustrator.
Max Ducos continues to paint instinctively with the desire to always question himself artistically, not to repeat a formula and not to seek to create a defined pictorial identity.
