Our Story

Alyssa was out at a bar called The Whistler with a friend one night in October 2021 when she saw Max on the patio wearing an all white outfit. She immediately loved his vibe, but didn't work up the nerve to speak to him that night. 

When she downloaded Bumble not long after that evening, Max's profile was one of the first to appear. It felt like fate, and Alyssa was finally able to compliment his sense of style. They made plans to meet at Little Victories for their first date three days later, and they moved in together five months after meeting. When you know, you know.

Max proposed to Alyssa in their apartment shortly after Valentine’s Day 2024. Following the proposal, they walked around the corner to Little Victories and had a celebratory drink at the same table they sat at together on their first date. 

Music was something we immediately bonded over on our first date! This playlist includes the songs we played on repeat when we began dating, and other tracks that we've danced to together at shows. 

You can expect that music will be a big part of our wedding day. See you on the dance floor!
