# Biorhythms Privacy Policy

`Biorhythms` helps people track biorhythm cycles, profiles, and daily check-ins.
This policy explains what data the app stores, what data may leave the device,
and how subscription-related information is handled.
## Data Stored On Device
The app stores the following data locally on the user's device:
- Profiles, including names, birthdays, notification preferences, and colors
- Daily check-ins and notes
- App preferences such as onboarding completion, selected focus areas, language,
and notification settings
- Local backup files the user chooses to export
## Data Sent Off Device
`Biorhythms` uses Google Firebase services:
- Firebase Analytics to understand high-level app usage such as onboarding
completion, paywall views, trial starts, purchases, and restore actions
- Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and diagnostic information when
the app encounters errors
The app does not run its own account system or upload profile/check-in content
to an application backend controlled by the developer.
## Subscriptions
Subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store and Google Play. Purchase,
billing, renewal, and cancellation information is handled by those platforms.
The app stores local entitlement state to unlock premium features and supports
restore purchases through the platform billing APIs.
## Backups
The app lets users export a local JSON backup file containing profile,
preference, notification, and check-in data. Subscription purchases are not
included in backups and must be restored through the App Store or Google Play.
## Data Retention and Control
Users can:
- Edit or delete profiles inside the app
- Delete individual check-ins by replacing or removing them in the app
- Export and import local backup files
- Disable notifications in the app or at the OS level
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in their Apple or Google account settings
Removing the app may delete data stored locally on the device unless the user
has created and retained an exported backup.
