The Malaysia Audiology Workforce Survey (MAWS) is a project initiated by the Technical Working Committee for Malaysia Audiology Workforce Survey (MAWS-TWC) to understand the need for audiologists in Malaysia.

This critical initiative was proposed as currently there is no statistics on the audiology workforce in Malaysia. Accurate data on the audiology workforce can be used to predict possible shortages of manpower and assist in the allocation of human resources, program development, and recruitment efforts in both the healthcare system and education sectors.

MAWS is an online survey that targets responses from audiology graduates in Malaysia.

Starting from April 2024, MAWS-TWC is patroned by the Conjoint Board of Studies for Audiology and Speech Sciences (CBOSASS) although the committee and ground works have started since December 2022.
