We measured the correlation between user reachability and insertion positions. Specifically, as listed in the below table, we computed the relative insertion position distribution of the malicious Wiki articles used in the user study based on user reachability. We found no significant difference in relative insertion position distributions for the promotion-reached articles and the promotion-not-reached articles, implying that insertion positions do not affect participants’ reachability to promotional content. Hence, there is no significant correlation between user reachability and insertion positions.
