Academic System

The College has the Following Academic Systems Affiliated to the Dibrugarh University:

1. Major System
   • Until the academic session 2017-2020, we had Major System. At present the system is sustained in the II, III and VI semesters
2. Choice Bases Credit System (CBCS)
   • The Major System has been superseded by the Choice Based Credit System from the Academic Session 2018-2019. Gradually the Major System will be phased out by the CBCS. Under this system, the higher education all over India will follow the same curriculum with a slight deviation of 20% by the universities.
