We offer comprehensive Afterschool, Summer, and Age 3-5 Care programs that provide movement, play, workshops, homework clubs, sensory spaces, and a strong, safe community that extends to our MAUSD elementary schools.

ELP’s BES Youth Advocacy Council spent the spring raising awareness about the importance of outdoor education!  Take a sneak peak at the advocacy video they made with Shawn Kimball, drafting, filming, editing and carefully choosing the soundtrack!  Don’t be surprised if they knock on your door!  This motivated crew is selling YAC gear to raise money for outdoor equipment! The future’s looking bright!



ELP Leaders learn the Art of Teaching Art 

with 'The Cardboard Teacher' Tom Pnini

Tom Pnini (b. 1981, Israel) creates time-based works and large-scale installations. He has exhibited in museums and galleries in New York, Los Angeles, Milan, Toronto, Moscow, and Israel, including a 2020and a 2017 solo show at Lesley Heller Workspace, in the Lower east side, NY, a 2015 and a 2012 solo show at Cheloudh Gallery in Tel Aviv and a 2015 solo show at Giuseppe Pero Gallery in Milan. He holds an MFA from Parsons School of Design at the New School (2010). He has received a CCA Video Art Fund (2012), a Dean’s Graduate Scholarship from Parsons (2009-10), and an Outstanding Artistic Excellence Award from Beit Berl College (2008). His works have been part of numerous collections. He lives and works in New York City. In 2014 he developed and since then directs The CardBoard Studio, an immersive art education experience.
