Highlights!
20. VRAD Round Robin round
I finished the Round Robin round in 6th place, team 64716A, out of 133 participating teams. VRAD is a virtual drone competition set on the scene of mars. Participants must develop a Python script to control three robots and retrieve minerals. Each match is 10 minuets and the player with the most minerals wins the game. The program I use is co-developed with Blake Stewart. We have written three files each reaching 100+ lines. Through this experience I have been able to solve realistic problems, practice problem solving and debugging, and collaborating on a coding project. I have recently learned git to improve the workflow and speed up our feature development. Overall, I have gained valuable technical experience and have been able to demonstrate it's effectiveness in the competitions as well.
