John Dewey highlighted aspects that were lacking in children's education. He wanted a way to not let school be seperate from the rest of their lives. Dewey believed we could accomplish this by enforcing the connection of learning and the four impulses of learners. These impulses are inquiry, communication, construction, and expression.
