Welcome to LiveQR (referred to as "we", "our", or "the app"). This Privacy Policy explains how our application handles user information. Our primary goal is to provide a fast, secure, and offline utility for merchants to generate and display custom-amount UPI QR codes to receive payments, while strictly respecting user privacy.
LiveQR is an independent utility tool designed for merchants to display UPI QR codes. It does not process banking transactions, offer lending/credit services, or act as a payment gateway.
LiveQR operates primarily on device-level local processing. To provide its core features, the app uses:
Local Storage / Preferences: Your configured UPI ID, merchant name, and app preferences are stored locally on your device.
Diagnostics & Performance (Crashlytics/Analytics): We may collect anonymous crash logs and basic app performance diagnostics solely to fix bugs and improve stability. No personally identifiable or financial information is included in these diagnostics.
To generate dynamic, custom-amount UPI QR codes on your screen for in-person customer scanning.
To store your merchant display preferences locally on your device for future sessions.
We do not collect, store, sell, or transmit your personal financial information, UPI IDs, or transaction records to external servers.
All configuration data and preferences remain strictly on your local device. Because all data resides locally, you can secure it using standard device-level locks (such as PIN, Pattern, or Biometrics). You can clear all local app data at any time via Android App Settings.
We do not sell, trade, rent, or share any user data with third parties or advertisers. The application operates offline for QR generation and does not transmit financial details over the network.
You maintain complete control over the permissions granted to LiveQR:
Data Erasure: Uninstalling the application or clearing storage via system settings will permanently delete all locally stored preferences and profile data.
LiveQR is an independent utility tool. All brand names, logos, and trademarks (including Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, and others) belong to their respective owners and are referenced solely for identification and compatibility purposes.
