Youth Clinic

Our 2018 Showcase Prep Clinics with Kanekoa Texeira, Atlanta Braves organizational pitching coach, were successful in reaching out to Maui's Upcountry and Lahaina baseball players and families. Club team members gave back their knowledge to their communities and also gained perspective of what coach Kanekoa's baseball and life journey was like. Future free clinics may involve volunteers traveling to Molokai and Lanai to present the clinics to our neighbor island Maui County baseball communities.

On Thursday, we were joined by former and current college baseball players including: Micah Richardson, Chazz Ishikawa, Bryant Nakagawa, Travis DeLima, Isaiah Maddela, Mikey Hooper and others... The clinic content is designed to educate and inspire youth baseball players of what it takes to play at the collegiate level and what skills college coaches/recruiters and scouts are looking for. These collegians, assisted by our club team members, led the instruction for approximately 50 baseball players 14 and under from Upcountry and Central Maui communities.

Mahalo for inviting us to your Upcountry baseball clinic today! Our 4 year old son had a great time, as this was his 1^st organized baseball experience! The multi-level instructors were amazing in working with all of the keiki and he learned so much! Today was truly a great and memorable experience for our son, and he looks forward to playing Tee ball this upcoming year. Awesome program & Many Thanks again!

Friday the show went to Lahaina Recreation Center and Kanekoa Texeira and Leonard Barcoma Jr. were the chief instructors for approximately 20 baseball players 14 and under. Club team members were there again, mentoring the youth and giving their time to their baseball communities.
