MATTRN Screenshot is a Chrome extension for capturing webpages, previewing and annotating screenshots, saving recent captures locally, and exporting screenshots as image or PDF files.
When you choose to capture a webpage, the extension accesses the visible content of that webpage so it can create the screenshot you requested. The extension may also store the webpage title and URL with the local capture history so you can identify recent screenshots.
The extension stores screenshot frames, completed captures, export settings, shortcut settings, and recent capture history locally in Chrome storage on your device.
Information accessed by MATTRN Screenshot is used only to provide the extension's screenshot, preview, annotation, history, and export features.
MATTRN Screenshot does not sell user data. The extension does not transmit screenshots, webpage content, browsing history, or extension settings to MATTRN servers or advertising services.
If you contact MATTRN support and choose to share screenshots, logs, or other information, that information will be used only to respond to your support request, improve the product, comply with applicable law, or protect against abuse.
Captured images and settings are stored locally in your Chrome browser. You can delete captures from the extension interface. You can also remove extension data by uninstalling the extension or clearing its site and extension storage through Chrome.
The extension is designed to process screenshots locally. It does not use remote code and does not require an account.
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We may update this Privacy Policy if the extension's features or legal requirements change. The updated policy will be posted at the same public URL with a revised effective date.
